Update of The Summer Fair

For the first time, PTA had organised a Summer Fair which turned up to be a successful event, we couldn't have done without your help and support. Thank you!!!!! PTA is formed to fundraise for the benefit of the children at the school and is as a way for parents to become more involved with their children’s school. Working in partnership with the school, a PTA can help to develop strong links between home and school.
Summer Fair: Stalls were hired by various people selling clothes, Accessories and jewelleries. PTA had stalls selling all donated toys/books/Games/drinks/cakes and food (the food was donated by Abu Zaad's restaurant). PTA had also a special stall of Silent Auction with 10 exclusives items, one of the them is a meal for two at Al Saha Restaurant, a local restaurant in Kilburn.

Those Pictures were taken at the end of the Summer Fair

Now the good news is that we have managed to raise so far £547.02 at the Summer Fair. From this raised amount, £100 was donated to a teacher to buy gifts for children who have achieved, behavied and improved along the Academic year 2009/2010 and an amount has been given towards the Year 11 Gifts.

The other GOOD NEWS, is that we have a parent who has kindly offered to buy the 2 needed Electronic white boards. Jazahoum allah Khayran.

Once again, thank you to all parents, teachers, staff, PTA's members and children.
